The design process starts with setting an appointment for a design consultation with Robert Spark. The steps in the design process are as follows:
1) Idea/concept generation - This includes deciding what you are trying to symbolize, what colors are important, what imagery is meaningful and what materials are required.
2) From this conversation a sketch is produced and if appropriate (in the case of engraving) a detailed drawing is made. These renderings guide the production process.
3) CustomerApproval -Before production begins you must give your approval of the design. This is a critical moment because it is our mutal understanding that allows this process to be successful.
4) Check-in for Details and FinalApproval - Stone selectionand wax models or initial hand made pieces are shown to you when it is necessary to get your input for production to proceed.
5) Production
All you need to start the process is the desire to make something beautiful. If you have a design in mind or picture in hand of what you want, bring it with you and we can work with that. If you do not have an image of what you have in mind, come in and Robert will help you plan out your new piece, his years of experience will help guide you in this creative and fun process.
Some times a custom piece is not what you need. I can help you restore your old jewellery or find items such as gold chain, pearls, diamonds and colored gem stones.
